The Carpenter who lost his Watch

Once upon a time, there lived a carpenter. When he was working, he accidentally lost his watch in the huge straw pile. He really loves his watch so he tried hard to find it back. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find it even all his friends had helped him.

At noon, while the workers were getting out from the wood workshop to get rest, there was a boy who watched them for quite long time. He knew that all the workers were trying to find it. Suddenly, he found the watch and gave it back to the carpenter soon. He was really glad to know it.

“How did you find my watch easily?” asked the carpenter. The boy said, “That’s easy. I just sat calmly and silently on the floor. Thus I heard the watch’s sound so that I know where the watch was.”

Deceiving Neighbor

Once upon a time,  there was two neighbors live harmoniously. One of them had an old big tree in front of his house. One day, his neighbor said, “You have to fell the tree as it will bring bad luck. “Then, he followed his neighbor’s advice to fell it.

Some days later,  this neighbor visited him and asked, “Could i have some of your felled trees for firewood?”  The man realized that he had just been deceived by his neighbor. Actually, his neighbor needed firewood so he asked him to fell his old big tree for him.

Beware of Invesment Scams

This is because market or other economic conditions ca cause one asset category to perform very badly. Although diversivication is not guarantee against loss, it is an effective strategy to help you manage your risk.

Two Hunters and a Wild Goose

Two hunters saw a wild goose fly overhead. As one of the hunter placed an arrow in his bow and aimed it at the goose, he said, “that goose will make a fine stew”.  “Stew?” said the other. “It would be far better to roast it”. “Stewed!” said the first, putting down his arrow. “Roasted!” replied the other.

The argument went on. “Let’s ask our clan leader to decide the best way to cook that goose.

“The leader settled the argument by suggesting that when they caught the goose, half should be stewed and half should be roasted. In that way, everyone’s needs would be met.

Pleased, the two hunters went out to shoot the wild goose, but by that time, the goose was safely long gone.

There is an opportunity in every situation

The Farmer and His Horse

There is an old farmer who had an old horse or tilling his fields. One day the horse escaped into the hills and when all the farmer’s neigbohrs sympathized with the old man over his bad luck, the farmer replied, “Bad Luck? Good luck? Who knows?”

A week later the horse returned with a herd of wild horses from the hills and this time the neigbohrs congratulated the farmer on his good luck. Then, when the farmer’s son was attempted to tame one of the wild horse, he fell off and broke his leg. Everyone thought this very bad luck. not the farmer, whose only reaction was, “Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?”

Some weeks later the army marched into the village and conscripted every able-bodied youth they found there. When they saw the farmer’s son with his broken leg they let him off. Now was that good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?

The Withered Rice

A long time ago, there was a forbearing man. He was about wishing to grow his rice rapidly. He kept on thingking about the solution. But still, the rice did not grow as he wished. One day, he came across the solution. He pulled the rice out and he made it. But unfortuantely, he found the rice got withered on the next day.
